Abner, a lonely 12 year old boy, lives in a quiet neighbourhood with his father. One morning upon befriending Freddie and Nathan, two young brothers who come to Abner’s doorstep seeking his aid in making pancakes, Abner quickly gets plunged into a chaotic and messy journey faced with old memories of his mom and the unexpected pleasures in helping others.

About the Filmmaker:
Born and raised in Canada, Alexander first discovered a joy for the visual medium when he was in elementary school. In 2018, Alexander graduated from York University with a BFA in Film. Alexander has directed and produced shorts, music videos, dance videos, a web series, documentary content and everything in between. His shorts have been selected and screened at festivals across Canada, the United States and have been nominated for and won various awards. He currently lives on the outskirts of Toronto where he is working on his feature directorial debut.
