Jawad Mir is a Toronto-area independent filmmaker who has called Milton home for the past seven years. His story-telling abilities have allowed him to direct and complete a feature documentary titled Only 78 about a small community and their struggle against the government.

Jawad currently owns and manages Sky Blue Productions which has completed works for clients such as Adobe, Ontario Government, EllisDon Construction, Sunnybrook Hospital, and Gino’s Pizza to name a few. He is currently co-producing a feature documentary, Barista 2, as well as developing a feature film script and feature documentary in the near future.

Jawad Mir will be our guest for the Ontario premiere of his documentary feature, ONLY 78, at 2:00 pm, Sunday January 28, and will be available for an audience Q&A session after the screening.
