Born in the rolling hills of Southern Alberta to the father of a pig farmer, Dana grew up with aspirations of becoming an artist and stunt performer. After coming to his senses he quickly realized setting people on fire is a lot healthier than actually being set on fire, and that’s how his career in Special Effects began.

Dana has spent 12 plus years in the industry working alongside some of the worlds best Spfx technicians. Dana has worked on everything from low budget films and television like Man Seeking Woman to the ultra high budget feature films like Suicide Squad. Some of the names Dana has worked with over the years include Guillermo Del Toro, Doug Liman and Johnathan Krisel. If he’s not on set he usually can’t be found as he’s hiding himself away, reuniting with friends and family.
