THE LAST WHITE KNIGHT

In 1965, Paul Saltzman, a 21 year-old from Toronto, drove to Mississippi as a volunteer civil rights worker to help register black voters. He was arrested, and then was violently assaulted by a young Klansman in front of the courthouse.

More than 40 years later, Saltzman returned to the deep south to find and interview the KKK member who had attacked him. The resulting film looks into the human face of intolerance and explores if individual reconciliation is possible.
